DISCOUNT AIRCONS

DELIVERY & COLLECTION POLICY

Effective Date: September 2026

Discount Aircons offers delivery on selected products and to eligible delivery areas. Free delivery applies only to products specifically marked as including free delivery on the Discount Aircons website or quotation.

Certain products may not qualify for delivery and will require collection by the purchaser or collection by the purchaser’s nominated/allocated courier.

PRODUCTS REQUIRING COLLECTION

Where a product requires collection, the customer will receive a Collection Booking Confirmation once the order has been processed and payment has been verified.

The Collection Booking Confirmation will provide:

The nearest applicable fulfilment centre address;
The available collection date; and
The designated collection time window.

Customers or their nominated courier must collect the order within the allocated collection times.

A valid Collection Booking Confirmation may be required before the fulfilment centre can release the order.

CUSTOMER-ARRANGED COURIERS

Where collection by an allocated courier is permitted, the customer is responsible for arranging and paying for the courier unless otherwise expressly agreed by Discount Aircons.

The courier must provide a valid form of identification or drivers license and the required order or collection information when collecting the goods on behalf of the customer.

IMPORTANT

COLLECTION ARRANGEMENTS

Where an order is designated for collection, Discount Aircons will send the customer a Collection Booking Confirmation once the order has been processed and payment has been verified.

The confirmation will provide the customer with the applicable fulfilment centre address closest to you, collection date and designated collection time window, ensuring that the order is ready for collection upon arrival.

This allows DAC to coordinate stock release efficiently and ensures that customers and their nominated couriers are directed to the correct fulfilment centre.

RIGHT OF ADMISSION RESERVED

Discount Aircons and its fulfilment centres reserve the right of admission and access to collection facilities. Access may be limited to customers, nominated couriers and authorised representatives attending for the purpose of collecting an order.

For security, stock-control and operational purposes, DAC may require reasonable identification, order details or proof of collection authorisation before releasing goods.

Discount Aircons reserves the right to refuse access where necessary to protect its staff, customers, stock, premises or fulfilment operations, subject to applicable law.

ALCOHOL, DRUGS & SAFETY

Discount Aircons operates a strict zero-tolerance policy regarding alcohol and illicit or impairing substances at its fulfilment and collection facilities.

No person may enter, remain at or operate a vehicle within a DAC or designated fulfilment facility while:

Under the influence of alcohol;
Under the influence of an illicit or impairing substance;
In possession of illegal drugs or substances; or
In a condition that may reasonably compromise the safety of themselves, DAC employees, other customers, the public, vehicles, equipment or property.

This requirement applies to drivers, passengers, customers, couriers and any other persons entering the collection facility.

For legitimate health, safety and site-security purposes, drivers and passengers may be required to undergo an alcohol breathalyser test or other reasonable safety screening before entering or while present at a collection facility, in accordance with applicable law and the procedures of the relevant fulfilment centre.

Where a person refuses a required safety screening, appears to be under the influence, or presents a safety risk, DAC or the fulfilment centre may refuse access and/or suspend the collection until the safety concern has been resolved.

No person who is under the influence of alcohol or an impairing substance will be permitted to operate a vehicle on or from the premises.

DAC reserves the right to take appropriate action where illegal substances, unsafe conduct or suspected impairment is identified, including refusing access, cancelling the collection appointment or notifying the appropriate authorities where required or reasonably necessary.

These requirements are intended solely to maintain a safe, professional and secure working environment for DAC customers, employees, couriers and fulfilment partners.
